Overview

Bodhicitta – the heart of awakening – forever the cause of happiness,
Is praised and celebrated by all buddhas.
When the sound of its peaceful dharma resounds,
By its truth may all beings possess excellent joy.

Karmapa Choying Dorje

Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen will teach on bodhicitta, one of the most important and profound topics in all of Buddhism, at the Mahasiddha Retreat Centre (MRC) October 8-10, 2022.

As taught by the Tenth Karmapa Choying Dorje, bodhicitta – the wish to attain enlightenment for the benefit of all beings – is forever the cause of happiness. Through aspiration and application, we train in further developing loving kindness and compassion, which are essential to the bodhisattva path. Acharya Lama Tenpa will teach and give guided meditation on the different methods of developing bodhicitta, and will discuss how bodhicitta matures into the true heart of enlightenment. He will also address the obstacles we encounter on the bodhisattva path.

At this 3rd Annual Open Retreat, we are delighted that we can once again welcome students to MRC. Please join us for this precious opportunity to study and practice with Acharya Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen. The program will be offered concurrently on Zoom.

Translation in English, French, Chinese and Spanish will be available. Recordings will also be made available to registrants for a limited time.
